In
Cyberstud Poker the player makes
an ante bet, before the deal, and
is dealt a hand of five cards while
the dealer is dealt one card face-up.
Based on the strength of the player’s
hand and the dealer’s card, the
player must now decide whether to
increase his bet or to fold. If
he calls, the dealer is then dealt
a further four cards. If the dealer
doesn’t have a qualifying hand,
an ace-king or higher, the player’s
bet is returned to him with double
his ante.
The advantages of Cyberstud Poker
This is a game between the
player against the house rather than against other
players. Payouts on winning hands can be very lucrative
and there is a range of bet sizes. If a player
is feeling lucky but has little or nothing in his
hand, he can still call and if the dealer doesn’t
qualify with an ace king or more, the player will
still make a profit on his ante.
There is also a game called Progressive Cyberstud, which offers a side bet for additional payouts and a progressive jackpot.
